Jordan was introduced to massage therapy after recovering from a snowboarding accident which left him with a prognosis of lifelong chronic pain. While being treated with massage therapy for his own injuries, Jordan became fascinated with the amount of anatomical knowledge his RMT had and was amazed at the results from treatment. With the combination of yoga, therapeutic exercise and massage therapy, Jordan fully recovered from chronic pain.

Jordan decided that he would pursue a career in Massage Therapy, and attended the 3000 hour RMT program at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy and graduated in 2011. After practicing at Squamish Physiotherapy for several years, Jordan relocated to Kelowna to be closer to family.

In 2016, Jordan founded Mission Health and Wellness in Kelowna, BC. He uses massage therapy to treat patients with a wide range of conditions.

Jordan has additional training in the assessment and treatment of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine and has participated in manual therapy research for frozen shoulder. Jordan also has training in osteopathic treatment of nerve impingement, to help patients recover from numbness and tingling. Whiplash has been a major focus of Jordan’s practice, as he regularly treats patients injured in traumatic accidents. He also has extensive experience with treating chronic pain conditions.

While not at the office, Jordan spends much of his time studying and reading, learning foreign languages, doing self-care (therapeutic exercise, yoga, meditation), snowboarding, spending time with friends and family, cooking, gardening, and traveling. He supervised the RMT student clinic at Vancouver Career College Kelowna campus, taught courses in jurisprudence and ethics, and has a passion for sharing things he has learned and studied with his patients and colleagues.

Before his career as an RMT, Jordan’s previous experience included professional cooking, customer service, teaching English in Latin America, volunteering with Olive Ridley Sea Turtle conservation, and volunteering in construction for the unhoused in Mexico.
